About the Archer

A fascination for history, particularly medieval England, and the sport of archery, came together for the concept of Liam's first historical fiction. For quite a while it went through an incubation phase until a story formulated. Then followed 9 years of research, consultation with history sources, and many, many rewrites.

Initially, the idea was for only one book, but because the story bridges the span from the 11th century to the 21st century, the project proved unwieldy.

The solution? Two books.

ABOUT THE ARCHER'S DIARY

An Australian has irrefutable evidence of Robin Hood's existence and true identity — and the legendary figure's vast buried treasure. The Aussie and his friends set out to locate the hoard unaware others are after the special heirloom in his possession that they regard far more valuable than the others left to him by his mother — and they are willing to kill to get their hands on it.

The heirloom could spark controversy among scholars worldwide, cause upheaval to a country's history, and potential conflict between two nations — unless the Aussie is taken out first.
